Powerful Male and Female Energy: Elina Nechayeva and the Estonian National Male Choir will give two joint concerts.

In March next year, Estonia’s best-known coloratura soprano Elina Nechayeva and the Estonian National Male Choirwill perform together for the first time in Tartu and Tallinn. The concert promises to bring many surprises, as several pieces will receive new arrangements written specifically for male choir and female coloratura soprano voices.

The shows, taking place on March 11 at the Alexela Concert Hall and March 13 at the Vanemuine Concert Hall, will feature both well-known songs — some in entirely new versions — and tracks from Elina Nechayeva’s new album “Dreams.”

“The moment has come when I can finally share the music from my album ‘Dreams’ with the audience — a creation into which I poured all my heart and soul,” said Elina Nechayeva.
“On stage, you will hear new symphonic arrangements of famous world hits as well as my own original songs that touch the soul and make the deepest heartstrings tremble. I’m eagerly looking forward to our joint concerts with the Estonian National Male Choir,” she commented. “The combination of male and female energy, powerful voices, and passion for music creates a harmony that will leave no one untouched. This will be something truly extraordinary,” the artist added.

Conducted by Mikk Üleoja, the Estonian National Male Choir is one of Estonia’s most distinguished musical ensembles, made up of 46 professional singers. The choir won a prestigious Grammy Award in the choral music category in 2004, has recorded with several leading record labels, and has given numerous concerts around the world.

Elina Nechayeva is one of the most intriguing performers on Estonia’s theatre and concert stages. She experiments with many different genres and consistently surprises audiences with new ideas and collaborations. This year, she released her album “Dreams”, half of which consists of original compositions, while the other half features new interpretations of well-known global hits.

Tickets for Elina Nechayeva and the Estonian National Male Choir’s “Dreams” concert are available for pre-sale on Piletilevi.
