From 12–15 March 2026, Otepää will host the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup for the second time in history, bringing the world’s best biathletes to Estonia. Otepää can be reached either by private car or by a special shuttle bus from Tartu.

The shuttle bus stop in Tartu is located in the lower parking lot of Theatre Vanemuine, and in Otepää at the bus station. On each competition day, there are both earlier and later departure options in both directions. On Friday and Saturday, a third shuttle bus will also depart from Otepää in the evening after the entertainment programme ends. The journey takes around 50 minutes.
