Mustasch (SWE)
Swedish hard rockers Mustasch to perform at Helitehas on November 20
On November 20, one of the most powerful names in Swedish hard rock, Mustasch, will take the stage at Helitehas in Tallinn. The band is highly regarded for its gripping riffs, explosive stage energy and uncompromising sound. Led by Ralf Gyllenhammar, Mustasch has been an established force in Swedish and European hard rock circles for more than two decades.
Mustasch is a band that is difficult to place under just one label. Their music combines robust rock’n’roll, the force of heavy rock and a direct attitude that has earned them both devoted followers and controversial attention over the years. It is precisely this straightforwardness and raw power that have made Mustasch a band whose live performances leave a strong mark wherever they appear. The band’s breakthrough came with the album Latest Version of the Truth (2007), which won a Grammis (the Swedish equivalent of a Grammy) and featured the track Double Nature – one of the best-known Swedish hard rock songs of the 2000s.
Over the years, Mustasch has cemented its place among the leading names in Swedish hard rock and earned a reputation as a band whose true power is best experienced live. Their concerts are intense, loud and captivating – an experience that goes beyond the music itself. Mustasch has released ten studio albums and won two Grammis awards. In addition, the band has toured extensively across Europe both as a headliner and alongside Motörhead, Gluecifer and Rose Tattoo, and has also opened for KISS.
Mustasch is no stranger to Estonian audiences. The band has performed here several times before, including as support for Rammstein and at festivals such as Rabarock, Green Christmas and Tallinn Rock Festival.
Over the course of its long career, Mustasch has released a string of strong albums, the latest full-length studio album to date being Killing It for Life, released in 2019. Since then, the band has also released the 2021 anniversary record A Final Warning as well as the new single Someone Has to Pay, which was nominated for Swedish Song of the Year at the Bandit Rock Awards. Mustasch is also expected to release a new album in 2026, with the band promising a rawer and more straightforward hard rock sound.
