The world-famous ensemble "Suliko" from Georgia announces a tour in the Baltic States
Unique voices, singing hearts and a specially prepared program that will reflect the musical history of the Kartvelian people from archaic works to modern operas and urban romances - all this will be heard and experienced at the concert of the ensemble "Suliko". The main soloists of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater are going on tour in the Baltic States.
On April 15, at 7 p.m., the ensemble's only concert in Estonia will take place in the Pärnu kontserdimaja. The two-part concert program will feature pearls of world and Kartvelian operas, polyphonic songs, church hymns, Kartvelian folk songs and urban romances.
The ensemble of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theater "Suliko" was founded in 2007. Its repertoire is diverse and covers a wide range of genres. The ensemble pays great attention to polyphonic vocal music, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a masterpiece of the intangible cultural heritage. Suliko has organized over 400 concerts around the world and continues to perform to this day, representing their country and its musical and cultural heritage.
