CHRISTMAS CONCERT IN KADRIORG

On 12 December, Kadriorg invites you to a special Christmas concert – a sparkling evening filled with beloved opera and operetta music, beautiful melodies, and a truly festive atmosphere.

The programme features well-known and much-loved highlights from opera and operetta. The audience can look forward to the famous Figaro, the charming “My Fair Lady”, and many other musical surprises.

Olga Palamartsuk – soprano
Priit Volmer – bass, soloist of the Estonian National Opera and guest soloist of the Bonn Opera
Piia Paemurru – piano

Olga Palamartsuk graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she studied under Associate Professor Pille Lill and Professor Jaakko Ryhänen. She has further developed her artistry in international masterclasses and has received awards at vocal competitions in St Petersburg and Poland.

Priit Volmer is a soloist of the Estonian National Opera and, since 2013, a guest soloist of the Bonn Opera. His repertoire includes numerous roles from the great operatic classics by Mozart, Wagner, Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and others. His roles include Leporello (“Don Giovanni”), Daland (“The Flying Dutchman”), King Marke (“Tristan und Isolde”), Colline (“La bohème”), Prince Gremin (“Eugene Onegin”), and many more.

Piia Paemurru is a distinguished Estonian pianist and accompanist. She graduated from the Tallinn Conservatory in Professor Laine Mets’s piano class and currently works at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She has performed in Estonia and across Europe with many renowned singers and instrumentalists and has repeatedly received special prizes for Best Accompanist, including at the Klaudia Taev International Competition for Young Opera Singers.
