Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko, winner of the 14th Van Cliburn Competition, is renowned for his nuanced touch and refined sound.
Paavo Järvi and the Estonian Festival Orchestra have emerged as a global musical phenomenon, blending an evident passion for performance with world-class artistry. Originally formed at the Pärnu Music Festival, the orchestra is renowned for its remarkable sense of unity. Rather than merely delivering a reading of the score, the EFO seeks a fresh breath and perspective in every interpretation. Järvi’s charismatic conducting allows the musicians to flourish while maintaining a cohesive and dynamic whole.
The Estonian Festival Orchestra is one of those rare ensembles whose playing conveys a genuine, burning intensity, making even the most familiar classical masterpieces sound new.
