The Critics is a collective of young filmmakers based in Kaduna, Nigeria, made up of friends and family who have been making movies since they were children. Using a single phone, self-built sets, and endless imagination, they create incredible sci-fi worlds in their hometown. Although power outages, a lack of opportunities, and everyday struggles constantly interfere with their work, they have no intention of quitting filmmaking. Over the years, their films begin to reach an international audience, forcing The Critics to face new opportunities, but also the challenges that come with responsibility. Suitable for ages 10 and above.
