Whether portraying an elegant aristocrat, a brilliant villain or an eccentric intellectual, he is admired for his unmistakable voice, magnetic screen presence, exceptional versatility and rare ability to combine dramatic intensity with wit, irony and humanity.
A co-founder of Chicago's legendary Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Malkovich has remained deeply devoted to the stage throughout his career, earning international acclaim not only as an exceptional actor, but also as an accomplished theatre director and creative artist.
In The Music Critic, writer and composer Aleksey Igudesman fuses the sardonic, straight-faced humor for which legendary actor John Malkovich is renowned with his own personal brand of out-of-the-box zaniness and the depth and beauty of classical music.
Igudesman is determined to avenge some of the most brilliant works in music history — pieces that were railed against and reviled by critics at their premieres. In this evening-length show, Malkovich takes on the role of the ultimate critic, mercilessly battering, insulting, and ridiculing the music of composers including Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Schumann, and many more — whose works were once greeted with jeers, scorn, and savage reviews.

One of the most special parts of the Tallinn concert is a limited number of additional Meet & Greet tickets, which give you the opportunity to meet John Malkovich before the concert begins.
Meet & Greet includes:
- a personal meeting and handshake with John Malkovich;
- a chance to exchange a few words with the artist personally and take a commemorative photo;
- an autograph on your souvenir, poster or special concert merch.
Attention! Meet & Greet is a separate additional service and is not a concert admission ticket. To participate in the Meet & Greet, you must also have a valid concert ticket.
