Australian musical gem RY X is returning to Tallinn next spring
 
RY X returns to Tallinn next spring — and brings his Dusk tour to the Baltics.
 
The Australian musical gem will perform at Noblessneri Valukoda on April 20, marking his second show in Tallinn and marking another chapter in his long-standing relationship with 8 Days A Week. The Baltic tour will also take him to Lithuania and Latvia.
The GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer has built his career around a lifelong pursuit of connection – to nature, to spirit, to the human experience, and to one another. Expression and vulnerability lie at the heart of everything RY X creates, shaping music that feels deeply personal and intimate.

His work moves freely between music, film, dance and performance, yet always returns to the same essential question: what does it mean to be human? Exploring the full spectrum of physical and emotional experience, RY X approaches every form of artistic expression with openness, curiosity and a deep sense of vulnerability.

His compositions have been commissioned by the Gothenburg Opera and Nederlands Dans Theater, while ongoing collaborations with dancers, filmmakers and visual artists continue to expand the world of his music. He has also composed scores for numerous film projects.

“Holy Water” became a prayer honouring the beauty of the water contained in the human body, and the story of where that water connects with the world outside.

A conversation on love, and the gravity between two hearts — this being the place where spirit loves to enter and speak. An immense and delicate moment all at once, like two oceans meeting.

I felt a return to essence writing this song, and this album. Stripping songs to their core, creating from a heartfelt and vulnerable place in a time where there is so much in the world that only has fragments of human touch.
