Finnish superstar Käärijä to perform in Tallinn this October
On October 29, Finnish rapper, singer and songwriter Käärijä will take the stage at Helitehas in Tallinn as part of his biggest tour yet, the “Eurodisko Tour”. Joining him as a special guest will be Swedish artist Little Sis Nora, best known for the mega-hit “I’m an Albatraoz”. Tickets are available via Piletilevi.
Käärijä, whose real name is Jere Mikael Pöyhönen, grew up in the suburbs of Vantaa, Finland. He discovered his passion for music while learning to play the drums and began producing his own music at around the age of 20. His debut album “Fantastista” was released in 2020.
In 2023, Käärijä became a fan favourite at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool with his hit “Cha Cha Cha”. The song dominated the charts not only in his native Finland but also in Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania, reaching the top ten in at least 13 countries. At the time, “Cha Cha Cha” climbed to No. 7 on Spotify's global chart and became the most-streamed Finnish-language song of all time. The track remains hugely popular among Estonian fans to this day.
In addition to the phenomenally successful “Cha Cha Cha”, Käärijä's setlist features hits such as “Ruoska”, “TRAFIK!” and “#eurodab”, as well as “It's Crazy It's Party” - his collaboration with Estonian star Tommy Cash.
Käärijä considers Rammstein one of his biggest musical influences and even has a Rammstein tattoo on his chest to prove it. His musical achievements have earned him five Emma Awards (Finland's national music awards) and an MTV Europe Music Award.
In May, Käärijä performed for more than 10,000 fans at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki. His current tour schedule includes 24 concerts across 15 European countries. Compared to his previous tours, the “Eurodisko Tour” promises to be his most ambitious, energetic and spectacular production yet.
Little Sis Nora is a Swedish pop artist, producer and songwriter known for her bold, playful and vibrant personality. Her music blends pop with club sounds.
Little Sis Nora made her international breakthrough in 2014 with the viral hit “I'm an Albatraoz”, which went on to generate billions of streams. She followed it up with tracks such as “MDMA”, “The Woodchuck Song” and “Rave In My Garage”. With over 4 billion streams to her name, she has reached dance, pop and EDM fans around the world.
