Elijah, a 14-year-old growing up in the slums of Malmö, is a talented basketball player who is drawn away from the sport by a violent environment and the lack of parental guidance. One day, youth worker Nic, who is losing motivation and faith in his work, sees Elijah play. Like Elijah, Nic was once a promising basketball player whose career was derailed by his own bad decisions. Nic decides to take Elijah under his wing and dedicate himself to helping the young man through the ups and downs. Based on a true story, this film is an inspiring tale of friendship and the power of someone’s belief in you. Suitable for ages 12 and above.
