Airbourne, the Australian hard rock powerhouse forged in Warrnambool, Victoria, will bring their raw, no-frills rock’n’roll assault to Helitehas in Tallinn on August 29, 2026 with their tour Gutsy. Known for their sweat-soaked live shows, relentless touring ethic, and uncompromising devotion to classic Aussie pub rock, Airbourne’s return promises a night built on volume, velocity, and pure physical energy.

Band was formed in 2001 by brothers Joel O’Keeffe (vocals, lead guitar) and Ryan O’Keeffe (drums). They were joined by Justin Street on bass and later had rhythm guitarists including David Roads, Jarrad Morrice, Harri Harrison, and now Brett Tyrrell. Airbourne have spent more than two decades carving out their place as one of modern hard rock’s most dependable live bands. Drawing from the lineage of Australian rock icons while keeping their boots firmly on club floors and festival stages, the band has built its reputation the hard way: by touring relentlessly and letting the music do the talking.

“We’re a good time band,” says frontman Joel O’Keeffe. “We don’t take ourselves seriously. We take what we do seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously.” That philosophy has become central to Airbourne’s appeal, a direct, working-class approach that prioritises connection over polish. “Turn the world off, and turn the music up,” as the band often puts it.

Their debut album “Runnin’ Wild” (2007) introduced Airbourne to an international audience, earning chart positions in Australia, the UK, and the US, and later a silver certification in the UK. Subsequent releases including “No Guts. No Glory.” (2010), “Black Dog Barking” (2013), “Breakin’ Outta Hell” (2016), and “Boneshaker” (2019) cemented their standing, particularly across Europe, where multiple albums have reached the German Top 10. By 2011, Airbourne had sold more than three million albums worldwide.

In 2025, Airbourne released the single “Gutsy” via Spinefarm Records, lending its name to the current tour and reinforcing the band’s core identity. “We’re a working-class rock and roll band,” Joel explains. “There’s no private jets, no limousines. We all sleep on the same bus, crew and band together. It’s the right way. We love touring, and we love getting out and playing.”

GUTSY

That commitment to the road has taken Airbourne from packed clubs to major festival stages worldwide, including landmark appearances at events like Download Festival. “You just bang away and bang away until you get them up,” Joel says of winning over massive crowds. “That’s what we do.”

Prepare for a night of unrestrained riffs, beer-soaked choruses, and rock’n’roll done the hard way when Airbourne take the stage during their tour Gutsy at Helitehas in Tallinn on August 29, 2026.
