On the occasion of the 77th National Day of People’s Republic of China,Blossoming Colorful Yunan Cultural Performance will be conducted in EAMT on September 24 by Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe. Founded in February 1951, the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe is the earliest professional ethnic song and dance ensemble in Yunnan Province and ranks one of the top ethnic minority art troupes. Its roster comprises artists from the Hani, Yi, Dai, Hui, and Han ethnic groups. Through its exceptional artistry, it has brought Honghe’s rich and diverse ethnic culture to more than 50 countries and regions. Widely hailed as a cultural emblem for Honghe, the troupe has made significant contributions to the prosperity and development of ethnic minority cultures.
