Duo Ruut – one kannel, two voices – performs together on stage with the 46 singers of the Estonian National Male Choir. The programme features music from Duo Ruut’s latest album „Ilmateade“ (Weather report), arranged for male voices and ensemble. In the summer of 2025, Duo Ruut made a powerful breakthrough, captivating audiences and critics at the Glastonbury Festival and catching the attention of the BBC. They have created a delicate, distinctive sound world in which every note and pause is carefully placed, full of space and air, radiating mature musical thought and a search for balance. The National Male Choir expands this world with a bold, richly coloured sonic palette.
