Beautiful experience of chamber music

Chamber music tradition, born in the courts and salons, gives the audience an opportunity to listen to music in a more intimate environment and creates a special bond between the listeners and musicians. 117th season introduces a series of chamber concerts of beautiful music both from international and Estonian composers.

Curator of the chamber concerts series is Jaanika Rand-Sirp.

BRASS MUSIC

This wintery concert offers the listeners a unique chance of discovering music for the beautiful family of brass instruments. We hear them in the orchestras but rarely as solo or more intimate ensemble instruments despite the fact that many composers have written melodic and exciting music for them. This concert features some of the most famous pieces by Eugène Bozza, Jacques Casterede and Henri Dutilleux performed by Toomas Vana (trombone), Jürnas Rähni (French horn), Cornelius Jacobeit (tuba), accompanied by Jaan Ots on the piano.
