Summer Night’s International Ballet Gala 2020 in Estonia brings young dancers from around the world to perform a collection of divertissements from your favorite ballets and modern works. The ballet gala in two acts is a unique opportunity to meet with international ballet stars and witness their creative work.
 
Our cast of guest couple dancers have performed in the great theatres of the world (USA, Europe, Russia). Now it is excellent opportunity to meet with them on the stage of Estonian National Opera and for once time only.
 
Summer Night’s International Ballet Gala evenings were first produced in the summer of 2017. The program will focus on the mix between avant-garde ballets and masterpieces of the classical repertoire.
 
This dream-like event is a thrilling evening at the ballet featuring dancers performing exquisite classical and contemporary dance works. Now you can revel in their brilliance and celebrate the culmination of exhilarating dance in an evening filled with beauty, youth and passion. Audiences will see exquisite performances including the premier of a brand-new work.
 
In addition to several international solists, there will be dancers from the St. Petersburg Mikhailovsky Theater: Ekaterina Borchenko and Ernest Latypov.
 
Short performances are staged by:
Viki Bromberg Psihoyos (The School of American Ballet and George Balanchine’s New York City Ballet)
Fabrice Edelmann (Choreographer and teacher of Nacho Duato repertoire)
Kirill Radev (Made his work on the leading ballet stages of Russia, Europe and America)
 
The artistic director of International Midsummer Night Ballet Gala is Sergei Upkin.
