The Italian Tenors ''Viva Italia''
The Italian Tenors brings well-known arias and Italian pop songs to the stage of the Alexela Concert Hall.
On April 26, the Italian pop-opera phenomenon The Italian Tenors will perform at the Alexela Concert House.
The Italian Tenors is a trio consisting of one of Italy's most successful tenors, Evans Tonon, Sabino Gaita and Luca Sala. In a spectacular concert program, they combine well-known Italian opera arias and pop songs with the help of their classically trained voices and original arrangements. Their repertoire includes songs like Lucio Dalla Caruso, The Love theme from The Godfather, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, Time to Say Goodbye, Piccola e Fragile, Gloria and many more.
The Italian Tenors concert highlights the charm of Italy and the vocal power of the vocalists. With a live band of Italian musicians, the evening promises to be an incredible musical montage of vocal passion and entertainment excellence.
The music group's new album will be released at the end of 2022 and will mark the trio's tenth year of activity around the world. They have expanded their repertoire to include famous songs from other countries, such as the Mexican song Besame Mucho; or Tonight, American composer and conductor Leonard Bernstine; or the famous Australian ballad Waltzing Matilda; or Sto Perigiali To Kryfo (The Secret Seashore), a beloved song by the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis. The Italian tenors will be accompanied on this journey by the Italian 5-piece band Babaarum.
The trio consists of Italian singers Sabino Gaita, Luca Sala and Evans Tonon. Sabino is originally from southern Italy, but moved to Milan at an early age to study music. He plays the saxophone, clarinet and piano and also likes to write pop songs. When he is not on tour with Italian tenors, Sabino collaborates with the Turin Opera House. Luca studied music in Milan, where he met Sabino at the local conservatory. In addition to singing, he plays the flute and writes songs for many famous Italian artists, including a song that won the 2012 San Remo Festival, Italy's famous pop music festival. Evans studied music in London and Rome. Before joining The Italian Tenors, he played several leading roles in many Italian opera houses. Passionate about all performing arts, he is also a trained actor and voice actor, appearing in Italian films, TV series and shows.
