Show descriptionHide description
Three Centuries of Piano Trio. Mozart. Arensky. Buravitsky.
Trio SEMPER MUSICA (Latvia).

We invite you to an evening of chamber music, where the pearls of the piano trio genre will sound.
We will start the concert with timeless classics. What could be more beautiful than the music of the great Mozart, it’s simple and accessible musical language, combined with the depth of thought and perfection of form.
Next, we will plunge into the 19th century of Russian romanticism. Anton Arensky was a major figure in the Moscow musical life, his music was highly appreciated by Tchaikovsky. The trio in D minor, which will be played in the concert, enjoyed incredible popularity among the public at the beginning of the twentieth century, often coexisting in concert programs with chamber works of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff. The trio is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding cellist Karl Davydov. The work amazes with sincerity of feelings, beauty of melodies and harmony of musical form.
Nowadays. Latvian composer Platon Buravitsky, who was recognized at the European level.
Estonian premiere of the "Scent of Celestial Flowers" trio. Meditation, minimalism, picturesqueness, a picture comes up from sounds right here and now on stage. This is how you can describe the sensations this composition makes you feel.
Dear listeners, we hope, that you will be imbued with the delicate flavor of this concert program played by us.
