CALUM SCOTT
The popular musician Calum Scott will perform in Estonia
On 8 September, Calum Scott, the English singer-songwriter known for his hits ‘You Are the Reason’ and ‘Dancing On My Own’, will give a concert at the Alexela Concert Hall. Calum will perform his romantic songs that have won the hearts of millions of fans around the world. A limited number of tickets will go on sale at 12 p.m. on 25 April in sales points of Piletilevi all over Estonia.
Calum Scott was born and raised in England. He had an interest in music from an early age. Calum became better known when he decided to take part in the reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent. Simon Cowell, a judge of the show, pressed the golden button during the performance and immediately let Calum enter the semi-final.
‘I’ve never, ever, in all the years I’ve done this show, heard a guy with the talent you’ve got. Seriously. This was sensational, and that shows to me that actually, you’re more than a singer, you’re an artist, and that’s why you got that,’ said Cowell.
After his audition, Calum was supported by stars such as Little Mix and Ashton Kutcher, and although he did not win the competition, he continued his music career. In 2016, Calum released the song ‘Dancing on My Own’, which became a big hit and ranked fifth on the UK charts, becoming the country’s most popular summer song.
A year later, the song ‘You Are the Reason’ was released, the video of which was filmed in Kyiv. The song was also featured on Calum’s debut album Only Human, and the new version of the song features a duet with the popular singer Leona Lewis. In 2018, the single ‘No Matter What’ was released, which is the most personal song he has ever written.
Last spring, Calum released his first EP, Only Acoustic, which features acoustic versions of the debut album. In the same year, Calum released the single ‘Where Are You Now’ in collaboration with the Belgian artist Lost Frequencies, which soon reached the top ten of the most listened songs in the UK.
On 29 April, Calum’s new single ‘Heaven’ will be released.
A limited number of tickets for the Calum Scott concert at a price of 28 euros will go on sale in sales points of Piletilevi all over Estonia on 25 April at 12 p.m. There are no age restrictions for the concert.
