Valmiermuiža Ethnomusic Festival will gather excellent soloists and ethnomusic bands from Latvia, Italy, Norway and Ukraine on two stages, offering one of the most exciting music festivals this summer. A musical adventure – traditional, meditative, postmodern, rock and ethno-disco, magical fire sculpture by a Spanish artist and a circus performance, sustainable workshops, calm and restless lounges, theatre, cinema, and exhibition – the festival promises a creative experience and a great atmosphere for the whole family! The theme of the festival in 2023 is “opposites attract” to highlight the desired – in art, culinary, architecture, landscape and human relationship. Let's look at opposites not as irreconcilable contrasts, but as an opportunity to give life colors, diversity and meaning.
