Producer legend Boris Brejcha and local talents in August at Weekend's opening concert in Käpylä Sports Park!

German DJ producer Boris Brejcha, who has become a regular guest at major festivals, has been announced as the first performer of the opening concert of the Weekend, Almost Weekend in Helsinki in August. Boris Brejcha will be seen at Almost Weekend on Thursday, August 5, together with Orion, Orkidea and Heikki L.

Called the King of High-tech Minimal, Boris Brejcha has become known not only for his music but also for his spectacular mask. In a few years, he has made a significant rise from clubs in Berlin to mega-festivals like Tomorrowland, Time Warp and Exit.

Established as one of Finland's largest music festivals, Weekend will celebrate its tenth anniversary in August in a central location and in well-connected Käpylä Sports Park and in the outdoor areas on the park side of the adjacent Exhibition Center. They offer a combination of urban and close-to-nature for this event, which draws tens of thousands of visitors and is now even easier for the public to attend.
