The ensemble Vox Clamantis and conductor Jaan-Eik Tulve will perform the most extensive choral work of Arvo Pärt, Kanon Pokajanen, in the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral in Narva, the only Neo-Byzantine style sacral building in Estonia. The opus created for the Church Slavonic canon of repentance text with its eonian prayers have charmed both performers and listeners for over twenty years. Vox Clamantis, with its ensemble composition, will give a more transparent, chamber-like sound to the work initially created for the mixed choir.
