XIII TALLINN WINTER FESTIVAL “Open your eyes, open your heart”

18th – 26th of February 2020

The festival brings some light to the dark month of February and
awaits an audience to
St. Charles' and Swedish St. Michael's Church as well as Hopner
House and Tallinn Town Hall!

We will delight city residents and guests with an opening concert
with traditionally free entrance at the Swedish St. Michael’s Church
and we will host foreign performers
from Hungary, Italy and Russia.

We will commemorate beloved maestro Eri Klas and
honour Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th birthday.

On 22nd of February we will celebrate the birthday of the
Republic of Estonia at Tallinn
St. Charles' Church with a grandiose concert
"GOD SAVE ESTONIA".

We will present young opera singerswinners of international
competitions for the first time
and alongside the festival, we will organise master classes in the
context of the youth program.

Since 2006, the festival has taken a notice of the people in need in
our society and for this reason we have created the
good deed initiative with the motto
"OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR HEART".

In 2020, we will support SOS Children’s Village as a part of the campaign.
PLMF will donate 25% of the festival revenue to support the fund and
we also invite you, good people, to donate:
NPO Training Centre for Practising Musicians,
EE037700771003227591, LHV Bank, with the keyword
“Open your eyes, open your heart”.

In previous years, we have collected funds as a part of “Open your eyes, open your heart” for the
Käo center for children with disabilities for schooling music therapists and buying musical
instruments, NGO Nirk to cover daily driving costs, the children of Saaremaa to buy musical
instruments and Estonia’s top performers to purchase quality instruments. We have supported
Tallinn and Harju County’s Union of Large Families with the purchase of a van for transporting
food and Old Town Music School to enable more children with special needs than until now to
receive music education with the help of support persons.
