Multi-instrumentalist and award-winning singer Sharon Corr brings us captivating Irish music with her solo concert. At the concert, you can hear Sharon's solo songs as well as The Corrs' well-known hits such as "The Radio", "So Young", "Runaway". Sharon Corr will perform at the Alexela Concert Hall on September 29.

Sharon Corr is a highly successful musician both as a member of the band The Corrs and as a solo artist. Sharon is both a singer and songwriter and also plays the violin, guitar and piano. Sharon got acquainted with the violin at the age of six and, in addition to singing, also played the instrument in The Corrs. In addition to her solo career, Sharon has been a jury member of the Irish talent show “The Voice of Ireland” for two seasons, where she had a unique opportunity to share her knowledge and experience of music and the music industry.

As a solo artist, Sharon has released three albums: “Dream of You” (2010), “The Same Sun” (2013) and “The Fool and the Scorpion” (2021). Combining a solo repertoire with hits from The Corrs and traditional Irish songs, Sharon Corr's concert schedule will instantly captivate the audience. Sharon's solo concerts have received very good reviews and have allowed the musician to open himself in the spotlight. Sharon describes this experience as incredibly powerful and satisfying: “I come alive when I'm on stage - it's the only place where I feel completely myself! Love it!”

Formed in 1990, The Corrs began when sisters Sharon, Caroline, Andrea and brother Jim from Dundalk started performing together as a family band. The band combines Irish and Celtic folk music with contemporary pop and rock music. The Corrs have released seven albums that have sold over 40 million copies worldwide. The group, nominated for two Grammys, was active between 1990 and 2005, reunited in 2015, and this year awaits them on a tour of Australia. The band members have been awarded the MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II for their outstanding contribution to music and charity.

Tickets for the concert starting at €39 will go on sale on Wednesday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Piletilevi sales points.
