Let's turn to our favorite festival arithmetic. There are three months left before the anniversary XXX International Festival of Arts “SLAVIANSKI BAZAAR IN VITEBSK”. For three decades our Vitebsk has been shining with cornflower-blue lights! For three decades Europe's largest project has been bringing people together! For three decades Vitebsk has been living in the rhythm of the festival!
This year the art forum will take place from 15 to 18 July. Additional festival projects are planned for 14 and 19 July.
The opening ceremony of the eminent music forum will be held on Thursday, July 15. The ceremony of presenting the Special award of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Through art –to peace and mutual understanding” and a gala concert of pop and art stars will take place on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater.
The main events of the festival will be the XXX International Pop Song Performers Contest“VITEBSK-2021” and the XIX International Children Music Contest “VITEBSK-2021”.
Without changing tradition, the Children Music Contest will be held in the Concert Hall“VITEBSK”: two contest days and a gala concert.
And the stage in the amphitheater will be provided to adult participants. On the first day of the final they will perform a world hit with the accompaniment of the phonogram “-1” and Alla Dukhova’s ballet “TODES”, which will present a new solo program in the second part of the contest.
The second day will be held as part of the closing concert where young talents will perform a Slavic hit accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under Vitaly KULBAKOV.
Festival fans will be delighted with traditional projects, such as:
a gala concert within the framework of the Union State Day with the participation of leading artists and groups of Belarus and Russia;
good old compositions and youth tracks will sound at night concerts “GOLDEN HIT” and “RHYTHMS OF SUMMER”;
gala concert “Chanson TV - ALL STARS” includes the most popular participants based on the ratings of the Shanson TV holding (TV channel, radio station, Internet resources);
a gala concert of masters of arts of Belarus is expected to be very soulful.
The closing gala concert with the award ceremonies of the XIX International Children Music Contest “VITEBSK-2021” and the XXX International Pop Song Performers Contest “VITEBSK-2021” will take place on July 18.
The surprise for the audience will be the first concert of the Summer Amphitheater – symphonic rock extravaganza “OVERTURE TO THE FESTIVAL. FIRE AND ICE”. An ice rink measuring 10 by 15 meters will be located on the main stage of the music forum! And on it we will see a real show from the winners of world sports figure skating championships “SAINT-PETERSBURG STATE BALLET ON ICE” accompanied by “CONCORD ORCHESTRA” under Fabio PIROLA (Italy).
The first tickets for all projects in the Summer Amphitheater went on sale on March 26, 2021 at the box offices of Vitebsk and on March 29 – all over the world. The Board of Directors is expanding cooperation with ticket operators and from March 29 has begun selling tickets on the websiteskvitki.by and ticketpro.by, and also bilesuserviss.lv (Latvia), bilietai.lt (Lithuania), piletilevi.ee (Estonia).
Since March 26 at the box offices have appeared gift certificates in denominations of 10.00, 20.00, 30.00, 50.00, 100.00 Belarusian rubles for the purchase of tickets for the events of the XXX International Festival of Arts valid from March 26 to July 19, 2021.
