Viola and piano sonatas by Johannes Brahms and Eduard Tubin
Eduard Tubin’s approach to formal structure was shaped by the masters of the Classical era and their successor, Johannes Brahms. In a discussion led by Joonas Hellerma, the participants explore the foundations of human identity and the significance of role models. Internationally acclaimed performers Kärt Ruubel and Xandi van Dijk perform musical works from their recent recording of Tubin’s music.
