Piletilevi PLG supports young Estonian sailors
Piletilevi PLG is contributing to Estonia’s Olympic Sailing Project. The goal of the project is to support Estonia’s top sailors on their journey toward Olympic medals.
The decision to support this initiative stems from our desire to contribute to the development of top-level sports in Estonia and to stand behind young, talented athletes who have a clear focus and international potential. Sailing is a discipline that requires perseverance, concentration, and teamwork – values that Piletilevi and PLG identify with in our everyday work.
Piletilevi PLG supports Estonian biathlon
We have had a long-standing partnership with the Estonian Biathlon Federation, and with the newly signed sponsorship agreement, we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of biathlon in Estonia. Our financial support is focused on helping promising young athletes – who have already proven themselves among the world's best in the youth and junior categories – transition smoothly to the adult level. Among these rising stars are a youth world champion and several athletes who have secured top-six finishes in international competitions.
Our group is committed to promoting sports, entertainment and culture. In addition to direct financial sponsorship, we also support biathlon through our professional full-service ticketing solutions.
Piletilevi PLG will handle ticket sales for major biathlon events in Otepää in 2026 and 2027 via its subsidiaries in Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.
The goal of the Estonian Biathlon Federation is to promote both winter and summer biathlon in Estonia and to represent Estonia in the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
Piletilevi PLG supports bold journeys! Anna-Liisa Talts: the first Estonian woman to sail solo across the ocean
The Mini Transat is one of the toughest sailing races, testing a sailor’s endurance, independence and problem-solving skills. With small boats and a vast ocean, sailors must often cope with extreme weather conditions and limited resources. Piletilevi PLG is proud to support young and talented sailor Anna-Liisa Talts on her bold and exciting journey!
The Mini Transat (official name: Mini Transat 6.50) is one of the most well-known and challenging solo sailing races across the Atlantic Ocean. It is a transatlantic regatta designed for small yachts, only 6.5 meters long and 3 meters wide.
The Mini Transat was established in 1977 to offer solo sailing opportunities to sailors with smaller budgets. The race was initiated by British sailor Bob Salmon. Over the years, the competition has evolved, but it has retained its original concept and philosophy – affordable and extreme.
