The Music of ABBA / Arrival from Sweden

 

After successful previous shows in Estonia with thousands of happy concert attendees, the world’s most popular show dedicated to the legendary group ABBA – Arrival From Sweden | The Music of ABBA – will return to Estonia, performing two special shows right between Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Tallinn and for the first time also in Tartu on December 26 and 27 respectively. These special evenings, singing along to beloved melodies together with thousands of others, will create a festive atmosphere for everyone.

In an interview, Björn Ulvaeus once stated that ABBA would never reunite to go on tour:
“Not even for a billion, or two! We will never appear on stage again. There is simply no motivation to regroup. Money is not a factor and we would like people to remember us as we were — young, exuberant, full of energy and ambition.” As we know, the band has kept that promise. At the same time, “The Music of ABBA” gives audiences the perfect opportunity to experience it all again!

 

This production has all the features a great ABBA show needs: authentic costumes, right dance moves, right harmonies, extremely talented musicians and breathtaking singers. The band’s performances and stage images are so close to original that it’s hard to notice the difference.

 

Arrival From Sweden was founded in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the initiative of ABBA original musician and arranger Rutger Gunnarsson and the Swedish artist Vicky Zetterberg. The band quickly won the hearts of audiences and became one of the most popular and bestselling ABBA show groups in the world. Since its founding, it has toured in more than 80 countries, performed over 5000 concerts, and appeared in numerous TV and radio programs. The group has also collaborated with over 150 of the world's finest and biggest symphony orchestras, including those of San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta.

 

They are the only band in the world with the rights to recreate ABBA’s original image, working together with costume designer Owe Sandström, who designed and owns all of ABBA’s stage outfits. Even more – Arrival From Sweden is the only one to have been entrusted by Björn and Benny with recording the previously unreleased ABBA song Just A Notion.

 

During the concert, you will hear all of ABBA’s biggest hits: Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Does Your Mother Know, Take A Chance, SOS, The Winner Takes It All, Super Trouper, Money Money Money, Waterloo, Honey Honey, Fernando, Chiquitita, Knowing Me Knowing You, Thank You For The Music, Lay All Your Love On Me, Gimme Gimme Gimme, and of course, Happy New Year.
