Syntheetika presents: German synth-pop band DE/VISION new format show DEVISION REDUX will be premiered in Tallinn at Kinomaja on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Special guest - electronic music formation from Latvia STandART.
Almost every synth-pop fan knows the name and the DE/VISION brand. The guys who formed at the end of the 80s, played their way from various youth clubs to a major record deal in the 90s and left behind 14studio albums, countless live shows and hits like “Dinner Without Grace”,“Heart-Shaped Tumor”, “Your Hands On My Skin”, “Strange Affection”, “I Regret”, “Foreigner”, “We Fly... Tonight”, “Blue Moon”, “Love Me Again”,“Try To Forget”,“Synchronize”.
DEVISION REDUX - what the hell is that? According to singer Steffen Keth, DEVISION REDUX is a new format of DE/VISION, which in no way means the end of the actual band. DEVISION REDUX is an additional format and stands for the most important tracks of DE/VISION in a clubbier, more modern, partly also more minimalistic, but purely electronic guise.
Steffen has chosen none other than Daniel Myer (Haujobb, DSTR, Covenant, Architect etc.) as his partner for any new interpretations: a man who has followed DE/VISION's history from the very beginning. Daniel already supported DE/VISION musically in the 90s with several remixes and was always a welcome guest with his projects in the supporting program. Now Steffen and Daniel will perform together in Tallinn as DEVISION REDUX presenting DE/VISION hits to the Estonian audience.
The show special guest will be the Latvian darkwave band STandART. It was formed back in 2002 and offers a dark blend of synthesizers and guitars combined with folk elements, nature sounds and samples. STandART have played in Estonia several times with bands like Camouflage, VNV Nation, Forgotten Sunrise, but this will be the band’s first visit to Tallinn since 2011. STandART will return with a new line-up and a selection of songs from all the periods of its career.
See you in Old city of Tallinn on Saturday, April 12 at Kinomaja. Doors open 19:00, programme starts 20:00. Tickets on sale now in Piletilevi and Biļešu Serviss.
