Silvi Vrait was and remains one of the brightest stars of Estonian music! Her powerful voice, deep emotion and immediate stage presence touched the listeners.
On this special evening, Estonia's best artists will come together to give life to Silvi Vrait's legendary songs. Known and beloved songs will be performed in new performances that respect the original spirit. Each song is a tribute to Silvi and her invaluable contribution to Estonian music.
The concert is full of emotions, the joy of recognition and memories - it is a meeting with songs that have remained in our hearts, and a tribute to a woman whose voice sounded in a way that will never be forgotten.
Silvi Vrait's journey into music began in 1972. She first appeared in front of a wider audience in the television programs “Kaks takti ette” and “Käokava”. Over the years, Silvi was a soloist in several ensembles – Tartu Culture Hall ensemble Suuk, Viker5, but her collaboration with the ensemble FIX left a particularly deep impression. In 1994, Silvi Vrait represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Nagu merelaine" composed by Ivar Musta.
This anniversary concert is a statement of gratitude for this entire journey.
