The Van Gogh immersive exhibition invites you on an extraordinary journey into the world of one of the most legendary artists of all time. Chosen by USA TODAY as the best immersive art experience last year, the exhibition has already been visited by more than 10 million people and will open its doors in Tallinn for the very first time on June 19 at Telliskivi TLN.
Vincent van Gogh is one of the most influential artists in history. During his lifetime, he struggled with poverty and mental health issues, gaining recognition only after his death. He brought unprecedented emotional depth, the power of color, and personal self-expression into painting. While many of his contemporaries aimed to depict the world realistically, Van Gogh used colors and brushstrokes to convey inner emotions — such as anxiety, joy, loneliness, and hope. His bold color contrasts and dynamic painting style had a profound influence on later art movements.

The exhibition begins with a physical gallery: reconstructed oil paintings, sculptures, and three-dimensionally animated canvases transport you into the heart of Van Gogh’s creative world. Step into his bedroom, read personal letters, and get to know the man behind the brush.
In the 360° multimedia hall, you can relax and let your imagination wander.
Today, Vincent van Gogh is regarded not only as a genius, but also as a symbol of passion, vulnerability, and creative freedom. He painted for only ten years, yet during that time he created more than 800 works, managing to sell only one during his lifetime. Today, his paintings hang in the world’s greatest museums, and billions of people instantly recognize them. His life story speaks of obsession, loneliness, and the belief that color and emotion can capture something true about the human experience. It is precisely this tension between struggle and beauty that makes his work so unforgettable.
