This summer, the ancient walls of Haapsalu Episcopal Castle will come alive with a spectacular new interpretation of the legend of the White Lady.

 

The tragic love story of the White Lady is one of Estonia’s most famous legends, haunting the old town of Haapsalu for centuries and captivating audiences across generations.

 

Set in a historic atmosphere, this visually rich production weaves together elements of visual theatre, acrobatics, and iconic rock music from around the world to tell a story of love, prohibition, and longing. At the heart of the performance are acrobats whose collaboration on stage creates a multilayered and mesmerizing spectacle. With captivating choreography, live music, and magical light visuals, the show draws on the mystical power of the legend while exploring deeply human emotions and choices.

It is a powerful yet delicate, mystical and gripping experience—one that lingers in the memory, much like the White Lady herself.

 

The production also features young performers from Haapsalu’s T-Stuudio, celebrating its 26th anniversary this year.

 

“The White Lady” will be performed in the Haapsalu Castle courtyard on August 8th, 9th, and 10th, starting at 22:22.

 

The show has English subtitles.

 

The show is brought to life by the creative team behind the light theatre festival ÖÖvalgel and the T-Stuudio Dance School.
