Estonian Aviation Days 2024
Estonian Aviation Days 2024 will take place on June 8–9.
Estonian Aviation Days is the largest aviation event in the Baltics. The Estonian Aviation Museum continues to be the initiator of the event and the most essential partners are the Estonian Air Force and the Estonian Aviation Academy.
As a tradition, Estonian Aviation Days 2024 is a two-day event (June 8–9). The programme for both days is rather similar. The Aviation Days are held on the territory of the Estonian Aviation Museum and in the airspace close to it. The 105th anniversary of the Estonian Air Force will also be celebrated. For this occasion, the permanent exhibition “2002–2024. 22 years in the Estonian Air Force. Robinson helicopters and pilots.” will be opened.
Three lines of action will be set up:
Stationary expositions: presentation of the “solar car” built by students, advertising booths for companies, Estonian Aviation Cluster booth, presentation of the combat equipment of the National Defence League and NATO allies, presentation of private aviation equipment, presentation of the aviation equipment of the Estonian Air Force and the Police and Border Guard Board Aviation Group and the allies.
Flight programme: aerobatics expert Jurgis Kairys, Scandinavia Air Show, Jüri Kaljuvee, overflights by NATO air policing fighters.
Entertainment and catering for visitors. Children’s playgrounds; catapult and tower jumps for adrenaline enthusiasts.
Among other events, the 2021 Red Bull Slack Warrior Champion Tauri Vahesaar will put on a fire show.
The gates of the Aviation Museum will open at 10:00 AM and the flight programme will start at 12:00 noon. Doors will be closed at 6:00 PM. The detailed schedule of the Aviation Days will be published a week before the beginning of the Aviation Days at www.lennundusmuuseum.ee.
Visitors can also see the permanent exhibition “80 years since the Normandy landings. The role of aviation in victory.” A private collection of armoured vehicle models titled “Tanks from World War II to the present” is also open.
