The International Festival of Young Spectators' Theatre NAKS will take place from 5-9 November 2024 in Tartu. NAKS is the only theatre festival in Estonia aimed entirely at young audiences, i.e. children and young people. The festival is organised by ASSITEJ Estonia

 

Over five days, the festival will showcase the latest and most original children's and youth productions.

In total, the festival will feature fourteen theatre companies from Estonia and six performances from abroad. There will also be workshops, a children's culture seminar, a public reading, a youth programme and discussion groups.

This year's festival will focus on theatre for people with special needs. For example, there will be performances for the visually impaired and people with autism spectrum disorders. You can see dance, circus, forum theatre, baby performances and much more.
