Spring is a time when the whole world shakes off the frost of winter and welcomes love to their hearts! We invite you to listen to romantic French music in an intimate environment of the Estonian National Opera Chamber Hall. The programme focuses on Gabriel Fauré, the pioneer of French chamber music, whose 180th anniversary is celebrated all over the world. The concert features songs by Gabriel Fauré and Claude Debussy, Debussy’s cycle “Trois Chansons de Bilitis” and Jacque Ibert’s cycle “Chansons de Don Quichotte” performed by Elena Brazhnyk (soprano), Karis Trass (mezzo-soprano), Raiko Raalik (baritone), Ave Wagner (piano).

The concert offers you a refined musical experience with W. A. Mozart’s songs, six nocturnes, Schönberg’s “Two Songs” Op. 1 and “Four Songs” Op. 2 as well as duets by Mendelssohn.
