The Mobile Homes to perform in Tallinn this fall

THE MOBILE HOMES TO PERFORM IN TALLINN THIS FALL

Syntheetika presents: Swedish electronic music veterans THE MOBILE HOMES will perform in Tallinn at newly renovated concert club Privé on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Special guest is the synthesizer-formation from Finland, Sekret Teknik

Listen to The Mobile Homes tracks on Spotify.

The Mobile Homes made a strong comeback in 2021 and 2023 with the release of two new albums, “Trigger” and “Tristesse”. The band, active since 1984, now has a studio catalogue that includes eight full-length albums. Their records have been produced by members of Kraftwerk, Nitzer Ebb, and Kent. The Mobile Homes have supported Laibach on their Scandinavian tour dates, and their music has even been featured in a Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) commercial.

“No one does melancholic synthpop quite like The Mobile Homes”. (Synthpop Fanatic)

The Mobile Homes debut album “Hurt” (1990) garnered them widespread attention on national TV and radio. With their second long-play “Nothing But Something”, which featured gems like “Afraid” and “Love to Be Loved,” the band solidified their place at the top of the Swedish synthpop scene and expanded their audience in various countries.

After 40 years of being active, the band members still think it's great to make music together. “The Mobile Homes will never stop doing music and we rather continue until we die on stage. It’s just pointless to stop the show now and play a final gig in Tranås, wouldn’t it be sad”. (Messed!Up Magazine)

Nowadays, The Mobile Homes perform only a few concerts per year, mostly in Sweden. This fall, fans in Estonia will get an exclusive opportunity to see a performance by these synthpop gurus outside their home country. The line-up will feature The Mobile Homes founding members Hans Erkendal (lead vocals) and Patrik Brun (keyboards / vocals), along with former Kent member Markus Mustonen (keyboards / vocals), who is also currently part of The Mobile Homes.

In Tallinn, fans can expect a career-spanning setlist covering four decades of The Mobile Homes music - from early albums classics like “Hurt” and “Afraid” to tracks from their latest releases, such as “Via Dolorosa” and “Throne”.

The show special guest is the Finnish artist Sekret Teknik. The band synth music combines modern synthwave, post-punk-disco, techno and EBM. A dystopic soundtrack from a fictional past. Highly danceable 80’s cyberpunk, mind twisting sci-fi references sung by a robot voice, melodies that make androids weep.

Listen to Sekret Teknik tracks on Spotify.

See you at concert club Privé, located next to Freedom Square, on Saturday, October 4.
Doors open at 19:00. The program starts at 20:00.
