Positivus festival continues to bring the biggest hip-hop music stars to the Baltics. Offset for the first time in Riga! It started in 2011 as part of the legendary Atlanta band Migos. Recently released his second solo album "Set It Off", which was streamed 60 million times in its first week of release. As part of the album, the rapper went on US and European tours, one of the stops of which will be the Positivus festival.

The British rock group Nothing But Thieves is at the peak of its fame and only few people remember that they already performed at the Positivus festival at the beginning of their career. Formed in 2012, the group has gained worldwide fame in 12 years. The band's discography, which consists of 4 albums and several singles, has been streamed almost a billion times. It stands out with such singles as - "Amsterdam", "Soda", "Is Everybody Going Crazy?" and, more recently, "Overcome," "Welcome to the DCC" from the band's 2023 album, "Dead Club City." Nothing But Thieves will definitely be something not to be missed!

Multiple "Grammy" award winner, jazz pianist and genius musician Jacob Collier - The Djesse Solo Show gained his popularity within the album trilogy "Djesse". The talented multi-instrumentalist has performed in the world's biggest arenas and festivals, and it's the festival's turn to welcome the artist.

Experimental but modern - these are some of the words that could be used to describe the British musician Benjamin Clementine. He started his career as a musician in 2008, in France, playing in various small bars and events, until in 2013 he released his first project "Cornerstone", which received recognition from musicians such as Paul McCartney. Since then, the success has not stopped. 2 more self-produced albums, unique voice and performance - the artist has charmed people all over the world and now it's Riga's time.

Brooklyn-based indie rock band Sister Squares has teamed up with Arcade Fire's Will Butler to venture into new horizons together. The group released their first joint project, Will Butler + Sister Squares, in 2023, which gained acclaim thanks to songs such as "Willows" and "Long Grass", whose accompaniments consist of airy sounds and uplifting melodies. This is not the band's first time in Latvia - in 2023, the first concert was also successfully held in the Palladium and if you missed it, this will be your chance to experience it again.

Hometown cult group Detlef won the hearts of fans all over Latvia with their 2004 album "Tu Izliecies Par Sevi". Despite the hiatus, the group is back with a lot of power. In 2023, a completely sold-out concert at the Palladium has already taken place, as well as additional concerts have been announced. Positivus festival is no exception this year! It will be a treat for everyone who wants to indulge in nostalgia or simply enjoy proper Latvian rock music.

Rapper Ozols - often referred to as the "King of Latvian rap", is undeniably responsible for starting and laying the foundations of the Latvian rap movement. He started his career in 1995 with the group "Fact" and has been firmly at the top of the genre for almost 20 years now. Noted with a "Golden Microphone" nomination for the album "1979" and the big concert "Arena Rīga".

Rising Manchester indie band Picture Parlor hit the ground running in 2021, regularly playing gigs in England's bars such as The Windmill, known as one of the most successful venues for young musicians. The band got their first taste of fame in the summer of 2023, when their debut single "Norwegian Wood" was released. The band's sound has been compared to greats like the Arctic Monkeys and Amy Winehouse. The band has opened for The Kills on their European tour, as well as toured the vast continent themselves. This will be Picture Parlor's first performance in Riga and certainly not the last!
