At dawn, the sounds of nature are especially bright. Sound lovers around the world celebrate the natures greatest symphony with the International Dawn Chorus Day, what takes place every year on the first Sunday of May. All across the world people rise early to enjoy sweet sound of birdsong. You can always listen to the sunrise sounds around you, but on May 5th, you have also chance to listen to the sunrise sounds around the world for 24 hours. There will be also dawn sounds from Estonia, streamed live from the nature.
MoKS and local sound enthusiasts will transmit the sounds of Southern Estonia to this global project. The leader in streaming and mixing the dawn sounds worldwide is Soundcamp London.
Koidukoor is part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main program.
