Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody

Queen’s career spanning over 40 years is truly impressive.  Hundreds of millions of albums sold, an incredible list of different significant awards, many number ones on album and singles charts and true and determined fans all over the world prove that Queen surely is one of the most legendary and important bands in the whole world. Despite the tragic loss of unique vocalist Freddie Mercury, Queen still remains one of the most popular and deeply loved bands in the world and during the past few years, young and talented singer Adam Lambert has taken the front man position in the band.

Queen + Adam Lambert joined forces for the first time in 2009 in the final show of American Idol followed by a performance at MTV European Music Awards ceremony. Soon, Adam Lambert became a fixture with Queen. In 2012 and 2013 the band performed several big concerts and TV performances followed by a sold out US tour. They finished the year with a spectacular show in London, near the iconic landmark Big Ben. The performance was broadcasted by BBC One TV for the audience over 12 million people.

In the beginning of 2015, the band toured in UK and Europe, in autumn they visited South America. Queen + Adam Lambert  played a big concert in Brazil at the opening  of the Rock in Rio festival where Queen  had played before – 30 years ago in 1985. Back then they gave two concerts – at the opening and closing of the festival and these shows brought together an audience of 500,000 people. Popularity of Queen shows no signs of decreasing as the Queen + Adam Lambert shows are sold out all over the world.

Live Nation Baltics head promoter Eva Palm comments: “We are glad to start the summer with such spectacular concert. Hits such as “We Will Rock You”, “I Want To Break Free”, “Under Pressure”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Are The Champions” and others will surely sound especially powerful at the Song Festival Grounds. We are also happy that when Queen mostly performs at festivals in our region, we managed to book a solo show in Tallinn. Queen is a legend and such an important band for the whole music scene. With Queen + Adam Lambert I am sure we will get a wonderful and moving concert experience.”

Queen + Adam Lambert will perform in Tallinn on June 5th. Out of original band members, Brian May and Roger Taylor will be on stage and both of them can also be heard singing during the show.
