IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL KINGS OF LEON RIGA SHOW VISITORS

On June 25th one of the most popular US rock superstars Kings of Leon will deliver this summer’s hottest Baltic performance with the biggest two hour production show of their career at the Mežaparks Open-air stadium.


The venue’s entries will be open from 18:00 by which time the open-air stadium’s vendors and caterers will also be of service. At 20:30 the evening will commence with the British band The Horrors as the night’s warm-up act, followed by Kings of Leon.

Kings of Leon will visit Riga on June 25th as part of their sixth studio album Mechanical Bull (2013) support tour, which is the biggest and most elaborate production of their 15 year career. The thousands of gatherers at the Mežaparks open-air stadium will witness an exciting show with stunning visual effects, enormous screen projections, spectacular laser lighting and on-screen visual collages.

The concert organizers invite attendees to travel by bike or public transportation. For visitor comfort, the tram number 11 will be making additional roundtrips so that visitors can travel faster to and from the center to Mežaparks both before and after the concert. Car parking will only be available in the “Rīgas Satiksme” designated areas.

Also, in cooperation with ERGO insurance company, bikers will be offered a guarded and insured free bike parking area located near the Mežaparks open-air stadium and open from 18:00 until the end of the show at 01:00. The bike parking area contains up to 400 bike stands, 200 of which will be open for reservation for the ERGO Facebook page followers from June 21st.

Umbrellas will not be permitted into the concert territory and all transactions will have to be made just in cash.

Kings of Leon concert organizers in the Baltics, the concert agencies Positivus Music and FBI advise visitors not to purchase any Kings of Leon tickets sold by individuals, to be wary of such offers and to only purchase tickets from the official ticket distributors. General admission – EUR 55. Tickets will be available at the entrance.  No designated fan sector available.
