Estonia’s biggest festival, Õllesummer (Beer Summer), will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in the upcoming summer and now, the names of the first artists who will be performing on 3–6 July at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds will be revealed. True to form for a jubilee celebration, the list of artists is truly outstanding for any music lover.

Next October, the unique The Italian Tenors will give three concerts in Estonia as part of their ‘Viva La Vita’ tour. The trio performed in Estonia for the first time this spring, selling out concert halls at record speed.

The Õllesummer Festival 2016 dates are set!

The dates are set for the biggest event in Estonia and neighbouring countries – The Õllesummer Festival.

 

The legendary summer event for fans of music in Estonia and neighbouring countries – Õllesummer Festival – has been scheduled to take place from 6 July to 9 July 2016 in Tallinn, on the Song Festival Grounds. More than 100 artists are expected to perform on ten different stages during the event, which is held for the 23rd time. The names of the main acts will be announced in spring 2016.


Õllesummer 2015



Õllesummer started off in the beginning of the nineties and has become a considerable music event in both Estonia, the Baltic states and Scandinavian countries. The festival also gives significant attention to food and drinking culture – besides enjoying the performance of local superstars and visiting artists, all visitors are welcome to browse the approximately 200 sales stands and entertainment locations. The organisers have promised to surprise the audience with a number of new festival areas.

 

Tickets will be on sale from 8 December; single day tickets can be acquired for 12 euros each; from 8 January the single day ticket will be 15 euros and during the festival week, starting from 4 July, the price of a single day ticket will be 20 euros. Children/pensioners can acquire their day ticket from 8 December at a special price of 9 euros; during the festival week, from 4 July, the special day ticket price for children/pensioners will be 12 euros. Festival passes will be available from 8 December for 29 euros; during the festival week, from 4 July, the cost of a festival pass will be 45 euros.

 

A day ticket to Õllesummer Festival will ensure you access to the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds on the day of your choice; a festival pass will ensure access to the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds from 6 July to 9 July. The festival grounds will be open every day from 5 pm to 1 am.

Some of the performers who have graced the stages of the Õllesummer Festival in previous years: Pet Shop Boys, Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Calvin Harris, Placebo, Mika, the Cardigans, Scissor Sisters, Manic Street Preachers, Bastille, Hurts, Alphaville etc.

 

Ticket prices:

Price of day ticket: 12 euros / 15 euros from 8 January / during the festival week, starting from 4 July, 20 euros

Special day ticket price for children/pensioners: 9 euros / during the festival week, starting from 4 July, special day ticket price for children/pensioners, 12 euros

Price of festival pass: 29 euros / during the festival week, starting from 4 July, 45 euros
